end of an era
My domain, theworldofhelen.com expires today. I don't currently have the money to renew it, and it got me thinking. I've had the domain for 12 years. Wow, that's a long time. There have been many, *many* versions of it. I ran a webcam for a while, and then a ferretcam, then went to a blog. Unfortunately over the last several years I've just quit using it. I think the only reason I kept it around was because of the email addresses that I've used for so long. I also kept telling myself that I was going to sit down and write, and as you can see, that never happened. I'm not sure why I derailed so badly, this used to be a very therapeutic place for me.
So, I've come to the conclusion that 12 years is long enough, and as of tonight, theworldofhelen.com will cease to be *my* world. I'm going to re-join the LJ world and hopefully start with more regular thoughts/updates.
