long overdue
I’ve been MIA for a bit. I’ve been reading and keeping up, but I haven’t felt like posting. Another funk, I guess. I seem to be having a lot of those lately. I switched meds, so I’m hoping that will help.
Things have been going along. Nothing horrible and nothing crazy wonderful. Did get to see ioevri1 when she was in town visiting, which was a nice change to the monotinous and boring life I seem to be living lately. I’ve become more and more of a hermit, which has put a lot of strain on Jon and I. So we decided that we need to make some new friends around here to hang out with. There are a couple of promising people that he works with, so we’ll see how that goes.
Thank you for the kind words regarding Bailey & Missy. The rest of the kids are doing well. We’re down to 6 now, which I can’t even believe. I’m back to double and triple counting and going over the names in my head. It’s really said when you have 3 picture shelves, with 5 pictures each, and now have 1 shelf that is completely rainbow kids. I realized that the other night when I put Bailey and Missy on the shelf in their places. I really miss all the little boogers.
The cats are crazy as ever. Goose is growing like a weed and goes in on Friday to get snipped. He’s currently zonked out on my chest sleeping (which is making this extremely hard to type!). He’s a mama’s boy, that’s for sure.
The new plates for the car came in the mail today. Yay. It’s only taken over a year for me to finally get to the DMV and order them. So if you see a little red car with “WEEEZEL” on the plate, that’s me!
Went to the eye Dr last week and got myself some new glasses. Unfortunately they’re not in yet, but once they arrive I’ll take some pics. They’re by the same company as my current glasses and are about the same shape, except they’re a complete frame, instead of the half rimless. I had to choose them on my own with out any help, so I’m hoping they look ok!
I also got my hair cut last week. It’s the same style as usual, except I came up with this lame brained idea to have it chemically straightened. I know, I don’t have that much hair to begin with, but the bangs in front were driving me crazy. BIG MISTAKE. Please remind me to NEVER do that again when I have short hair! The back looks like crap and feels like straw, and because I now have a very flat, defined part, the weird shape of my head is VERY noticeable. I’ve been washing it about 2 times a day, to get the relaxing to relax some. It has, which is good, but it’s still not at all what I wanted. The only good part is that because my hair isso short, the straightening in the back will grow out fast and I can get it cut off. So hopefully in about a month it will be back to normal.
Ok, that’s all the dumping I can handle right now. Need to get going to bed, have a long day tomorrow.
