Last Friday night I received perhaps one of the best compliments of my life --- I was told that I exude a kind of "scholarly provocativeness."
Indeed.
::clears throat::
To him-who-shared-this-observation-with-me (you know who you are): if it were not for the fact that I am already attached to an altogether lovely boyfriend, I would should have been all over you for the rest of the night... and all weekend (non-stop). Yes, your choice of words was thaaaaaat gooooood... ;)
::purrs::

Anyway, recalling this vury, vury nice comment reminded me of a list I've been compiling in my head; specifically, it is a catalog of attributes that I hope at least one person will ascribe to me at some point during the course of my lifetime. And because I do NOT want to forget them, I am going to "write them down" here in my journal and update this post from time to time. Hey, I'm obsessive-compulsive, alright?! Heh.
Okay, so we already have "scholarly" and "provocative" --- both pretty hott, in my opinion. And in addition to those, there are also the following:
*compassionate (relating to my future work as an activist)
*striking (as opposed to being merely "pretty" or something equally weak-sounding)
*vivacious (in terms of my personality)
*daring (generally willing to take chances when it counts... or even when it doesn't)
*cosmopolitan (in the sense of being cultured due to extensive travel, etc.)
*tenacious (perhaps the most important, at least at this point in my life)
Do I have a shot at any of these, hmm?
