happy new year!
i've submitted all my applications and finished my coursework with v. last week i went to see the ruins at hampi and they were, as per their reputation, mindblowingly amazing. currently i am helping v translate one of her own philosophical works into english, though that's more for fun than class.
i've been taking advantage of my newly found free time to explore the city. i really really love hyderabad's old city...so many twisting lanes and interesting looking people everywhere. and every possible thing for sale. the other day i discovered this tiny stall that only deals in dried fish! god, you could smell that shop a mile away. today i have been taking an eating tour and gorging myself on all sorts of street food. pav bhaji is to die for.
my new year resolutions:
1. plant a garden
2. learn to make my own pasta
3. start and complete a zine
4. be less passive-aggressive [tell people when i am upset with them instead of 'snapping like a bitch' ten days later]
5. learn more about anarchism
