Annual Update

It's been such a long time. And a lot has happened since I last posted. Since then, I've received my Multiple Subject (& math authorization) teaching credential from Cal Poly Pomona while working at Starbucks in Old Town Pasadena. It was very challenging and I almost gave up on my faith as a teacher and having a job, but I made it through. I would go into detail but I don't need to rant too much here about all the bad things in my life... although the bad news won't end.
I had a great year where I learned more about myself, as I hope all people do. I celebrated 3 amazing years with Bryan on September 28th and shortly thereafter, he broke up with me. I felt that it came out of nowhere and saw no warning signs. He told me he loved me everyday until we broke up. He didn't sit me down to say that he thought it wouldn't work out, but mostly I think he realized he didn't know what he wanted in life and I had to push him to realize what he wanted. He graduated from CPP this past June and is now an Organic Chemistry Doctorate student at UCR. There are a lot of new things in his life and I was not one of them.
Currently, I am an Educational Multimedia Masters student at CPP and I absolutely LOVE it. Integrating technology into education has been something I've always wanted to do ever since I was a freshman at CPP. I distinctly remember going to my Liberal Studies orientation and debating whether or not I belonged in Computer Information Systems. Before walking through the door of the CIS orientation, I knew in my gut that it was not where I was supposed to be, so 5 years, one B.A., and a credential later... here I am.
Relationships aren't missing from my life either. I have to go but I'll dive into that area in my next post :)
