Bush and Cheney go out for lunch at a small hole in the wall restaurant in DC. Their waitress is new and has never met the President, so she is thrilled to meet him. After a few minutes of conversation, she finally asks what he would like to order.
The President gives her a smile and says, "I'd like a quickie, please."
The waitress is shocked. "Mr. President! I thought you were above that type of thing. I'd expect that kind of thing from Clinton, but never from you." She storms off in a huff.
That's when Cheney leans towards Bush and says, "I think it's pronounced quiche, Mr. President."
"There's an old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee -- that says, 'Fool me once, shame on... shame on you. Fool me -- you can't get fooled again.'"
