The recruiter came through first so it's off to see the world for me.
I am wildly excited about this. Wildly. Excited.
My assignment is in Temple Texas, which is about three hours from here. It's a nice first assignment because if I forget anything, I can go back home and get it. It's also close enough that I can drive back and forth during the move.
I leave on September 9 and return December 10. We plan for me to hang around for Christmas, and then take off a few days after. I'm thinking of going to Colorado next. How wonderful it would be to spend the winter there skiing. I don't ski but I can learn. And even if I never make it past the bunny hill, so what?
The plan loosely after that is Ohio, then Rhode Island, then Albuquerque or Scottsdale. I already have my life planned for the next year.
It's going to be an interesting time.
