"Answers are elusive things, just like thoughts can be," she replied as she carefully wrapped his hand. "They don't like to be found, and when one does find them, they're often not precisely what you were hoping for. Mine were helpful, but I think some of them might still be residing between the cracks. I'll find what I'm looking for, eventually - there's always a key to be found to unlock the door, you know."
She released his hand once it was wrapped. "There. Better?"

"Uns are most dreadful when they accumulate though I can't help but wonder if you ever made it home...which I would say the answer is a resounding and astonishing negative. What happened?"
Besides waking up in this place, he too had matters of importance to attend to and one of them was rebuilding his village and the rest of Underland. This effort was no small task but one that required a demanding amount of attention. "When you left, I thought I would be forgotten but something now tells me in whispers this is not the case."

"How could I ever forget you, Hatter?" Her lips twist into a soft smile, and she reaches to touch his arm, just so. "It was never a dream, I see that now."

He shook his head as his eyebrows shown the emotion of his confusion along with his eyes changing color to blue in thought. He was very easy to read considering his odd ability as a living mood ring.
