The shuttling from Earth to Vulcan was easy as ever, Spock thought. It was only a four hour shuttling and then an hour from the main city to his home city. A quarter into their first shuttling, Christine leans her head against his shoulder and started to sleep. When they had to switch transports he had to wake her.

“Christine,” he said softly. “We are in need of changing transports.” He was trying to get up to get their bags but she was well wrapped around him.
