Friday!
So, it's official. I will be gracing the hallways of Rice for a third year. I'm done with all the requirements for the degree, so I will just take lessons and orchestra and orch rep and some independent studies. And get good at the viola.
I also will have to move to somewhere I can afford on my own.
Today at 12:30 Meredith and I are playing our New World excerpts for each other. I don't particularly enjoy playing for other people in this fashion, but it certainly helps construct a mock audition situation. And other people can listen for things you either miss in practice or listening to yourself on minidisc. After our excerpt party I have orchestra, after which I will practice for a little bit. Then I will come home for a wonderfully lazy Friday night with my cat, and maybe Chinese food.
