Summer's Last Stand...
...has come and long gone, and I hope you all had a good one.
It's been a long time. I want to write more. I need to write more. But I think Livejournal is dying. I'm considering starting a blog on an external site. I'd still write here about personal stuff and the minutiae of my day-to-day life, and mirror external postings here, but I feel that things to do with martial arts, toys and pop-culture, etc. need a wider audience. There's probably only about five of you who are interested in any particular subject I may write about!
As I said though, I'll still write here as long as there's anyone out there receiving me. LJ has been my home on the internet for close to a decade now (fuck me, has it really?) and I don't think I could ever kill it completely, just as I still post occasionally to AGLAMI, that other once-great-but-now-dying bastion of my online life.
On that note, here's an open call to all of you, dear readers. For those of you who've forgotten or never knew, I live in the New Forest, on the south coast of England. Should you ever find yourself within driving distance of me, please, do get in touch and let me know. I want to meet all of you, you who were essential members of the cast during these formative years of mine. I can offer you a drink and some good conversation, and really, what more could you wish for?
