WHO: Lillian, Heather WHERE: Basement, laundry room WHEN: July 17th, 2012; after school (and after Lilly sent her letter) WHY: Laundry and bonding go hand in hand.
Heather had waited outside the laundry room for a little while, waiting to see how busy it would be in there by the amount of people going in and out. Even though she knew there wouldn't be many people over the summer she still would like to make sure it was as quiet as possible in there. When she didn't see anyone going in or out Heather decided to walk in, her arms occupied by a large pile of clothes.
By the time she got into the laundry room and was about to start sorting her clothes neatly she noticed the other girl there. At first a surprised expression appeared on her face because she hadn't expected someone to be there, but it left her face for a very small smile when she noticed who it was.
"Lillian!" Heather remembered talking to the girl on that strange night and she had been really nice, so it was kind of comforting that she out of all people was here at the moment.

Lillian jumped at the sound of her name being called; she was so startled and in her sleep deprived state, it was more visible than usual, her mouth falling open slightly in a silent 'o' of surprise She hadn't expected anyone to come in at all but she relaxed when she recognized it was Heather and gave her a soft, welcoming smile.
"Hello, Heather. It's good to see you again. How are you today?" she asked sweetly.
Perfectly fine! Sorry for the huge delay. D:andsheletsgoAugust 23 2010, 17:55:32 UTC
Heather's smile increased slightly in size and her body seemed to become a bit less tense. She wasn't used to being around people, but since it was Lillian it would be okay, right? She just had to try and go for it.
"U-um, I'm fine..!" Her body was still just tense enough to nearly make her glasses fall off her nose, which she promptly pushed back up. She was nearly blind without them, after all. "Much better without creepy monsters around that are out to get me." The girl let out a slightly nervous-sounding laugh as she put her clothes down for a moment on one of the nearby washing machines.

Lillian hesitated before replying. On one hand, she could see how hard Heather was trying and wanted to encourage that but on the other, the last she wanted to talk about, even in passing, right now were the creatures from the other night. She'd hoped for an afternoon of complete normalcy to balance out all of the craziness of late.
"I can imagine," Lillian said after a moment of silence, still managing to keep her smile genuine and intact. "Honestly, I've been better. It's been a little hard to sleep at night knowing what's out there in the dark," she admitted.
