Who: Theo and Will~
Where: The parking lot outside the dorms.
When: Sunday, August 19th, sometime around 10 am.
Why: Because someone needs to poke around at demonic cars. And snarky team bonding.

Nothing was more nerve-wracking than a demonically-inclined vehicle parked in the school lot, menacing and some how an even darker pitch black against the teacher's cars (none of which had been parked too close). It had hung over Theo's head with each passing second, but not even he could get up the energy on Saturday right after their alleyway battle (it had been spent attempting to read and sleeping, in between a constant, paranoid eye on the parking lot visible from his dorm window). The fact the Packard hadn't slipped away in the night surprised him every time he looked. No one really, truly trusted the car as far as… Well, as far as it could run over the next hapless victim as soon as it got tired of the idea of having an available mechanic and keeper on hand.

Which was entirely the reason Theo knew he couldn't put it off any longer. It was still fairly early for a Sunday when he was up and outside in the parking lot, prim and proper school uniform miraculously switched out for looser trousers and an older button-down shirt, the same one that had gotten stained and ruined from his first run-in with the Packard, sleeves rolled up to his elbows. Toolbox in one hand, and coffee cup in the other, he stared the Packard down.

It didn't even flicker a headlamp.

No matter that he had a feeling the Packard was wholly unimpressed, but he had a job to do; and so the toolbox was thumped on the pavement next to the driver's side front wheel with a metallic clang. He circled the car a bit before standing back, appraising the scratches in the paint and disfigured rubber of its' wheels as he leisurely sipped his coffee.
