After making sure that all of the students were accounted for, Locrine did his duty as RA, locked the doors of the dormitory lobby, shut off the lights, and made his way up the stairs. Apparently the night Jimmy and Theo had gone out they witnessed something terrible. They had been looking into the rumors of hit-and-runs, and the thought alone troubled him. But a wild car without a driver? In any other situation it would have been completely unheard of, but he knew for their group it was enough to call a meeting. After the promises to the demons that were made about a month ago, it was hard for Locrine to avoid that nagging feeling of responsibility. They couldn't just let something like that tear down the city, right? ...Right? It was definitely a question they had to ask themselves now. Though... even if they were to all agree they had to do something, what on earth would they even do? It wouldn't be anything simple.
Theo had asked them to meet in the attic around midnight, and somehow Locrine had actually managed to be the first there. He entered the area, a notebook and a book in his arm as usual. Overall, it was a great improvement from when they first stepped foot in it. It was still cluttered, but the boxes had been stacked a little neater and put off to the side. The window that had fallen out still had yet to be replaced, but it was at least covered well enough with tarp and tape. The mailboxes specifically looked a lot better after they had been wiped down properly. They were actually quite presentable when the glass and brass was polished well. The keys to them were now attached to a more durable keyring and were placed hanging on a hook on the side of the frame.
The best part of it all, however, was the fact that it was much easier to breathe with all of the dust out of the way. Still muggy, but that was only natural given that it was still the dead of August. Locrine only hoped that it would cool off when fall finally came around. They could make due with the one fan they had and try to do better when it got warm again. Though... who knew how long any of this would last.
Locrine quickly dropped the idea from his thoughts and started pulling what seating they had together. Anything to keep his mind occupied until the others arrived. There was a piano bench, a few random chairs, an old stool, a sturdy box... It wasn't much, but it would do.
