June means marching bands. I kept up the tradition of attending the band-only festivals in Waconia and Osseo. As has been the case in recent years, there was a threat of rain for Waconia and lots of sunshine in Osseo. The first weekend in December means...Christmas at Luther. (It's still Juletide to me.) I made plans again this year to attend with Kelly. In addition we met Blake at Mabe's for lunch. After a full cast practice on June 29, the next time the full cast came together was July 7, one week before the parents' night/preview performance. July 7 was also the first time we put together Act I. We reviewed some dance steps and then ran Act II on July 8.
