:/ I'm really sorry to hear it, Jason. I know that's a variation, but I'm not just going to leave it at that.
A lot of things have changed in the past few years. It's not high school anymore, which in some ways does suck, but just because they're currently what you remember as the golden years doesn't mean they can't be shifted down to the silver years as you find some way to be even happier. Yes, finding direction in what you want to do for a career would help, and I know a friend here at UNCA who's having the same problem. You're certainly not alone (whether or not that's comforting). I think at this point, it'd just be easier to find something for the NOW. If you're not ready to pick a "direction," that's okay. You're only 21. And obviously, what you're doing for yourself right now isn't really working for you, deep down, since you wrote this and all.
If everyone dealt with drama on their own, there'd be no point in having friends. :/ If you really need your friends, let them (us) know, and not just through the once-in-a-blue-moon livejournal post. If something's bothering you, it shouldn't fester in you like this for so long.
I'm glad I decided to randomly check on this livejournal account. I wouldn't have seen this otherwise. My new one is loototherah, if you want to add me. If not, it's okay. It's been awhile.
But really, when I'm down in FL, I want us to hang out, alright?
