Happy Birthday to Me
Oh my goodness. Life can just be a little unfair sometimes. I was so excited to hear all this Yann Tiersen music on youtube, and determined to go to the music store and buy it. Well, the music stores here don't carry it, and as it turns out, there's only two actual volumes of music available, one of which I already have (thank you, David). The first volume is referred to as easy to learn, not necessarily what I'm looking for, either. I want his difficult music. Blast. Maybe I'll have more luck when I'm over in Europe.
Which also may not happy. As I suspected, I received something on my birthday from the Peace Corps (thankfully I was expected it due to a call yesterday). They need more information about some stuff. I had to make an appointment with someone, and the earliest she could get me in was the 31st. Incidentally, it's going to cost me a hundred and twenty-four dollars to go see her. Also, I have an appointment with my doctor on Friday. Since I am uninsured, this is again going to cost me a large amount of money. This is just not working out very well for me.
Well, I'm off to go home and enjoy the rest of my birthday. I just got contacts earlier today, which was a great surprise from Mom and Elizabeth. They are both such dears. Well, I hope all is well with all of you. Josh, I'm not kidding, call me next time you have off. Liz, perhaps we'll talk sometime this weekend. Anne-Marie, I mildly envy your assurance of plans. The rest of you, never read this anyway. Ha ha! (I just cannot convey in print the inflection for that...it's something one of my little three-year olds does).
