Raging waters crashing white as snow
Serene pools swirling into crystal clear
Reflections revealing all they know
Picturesque views of a young little dear
Springtime blossoms fill the air
Hundreds of tiny pawprints cover the mud
One mammoth impression by a lone grizly bear
A prize fish smacks the surface with a thud
From the minute bug that landed to drink
Up high above where the eagles soar
The wonderment of nature that makes you think
We must preserve our place until there is no more
