Evening

I had a lovely evening. I spent the rest of the afternoon bullshitting the time away on computer, then had an awful dinner of fried chicken, which I don't even like, and rice from last night (we had chinese food). Then at about 8:30 my parents drove me over to Ethan's (which is so weird, I felt like I wanted to take the subway). It was really, really cool: 6 kids on the beach with an awesome bonfire (which they made!) and milky ways and an old-school vintage radio playing this incredible jazz music from the 20's ("fine arts radio"). It was the kind of night where I hate my age...actually, that's my whole life. They were all juniors, so, yeah. At least they weren't people I'd exaggerated about my age to...ironically, one of the people who I was honest about my age to (Ethan) thought I was a year older. He had a very cute friend. I'm such a harlot, I see guys and I have such a one track mind. Well, either way, we had a really cool time, even though I left at quarter to twelve because my parents happened to swing by or whatever. I hate them for that. They have an inability to remember that I sometimes stayed out until 1:30 last year. Granted, I was in a close vicinity, but the same could be said about where I was. I appear to have burnt a tiny bit of skin where some embers flew out to me, it doesn't hurt, only I just came across it. It was awesome, Styx came on the radio, and we tried to turn it up. Come Sail Away is actually a great song, but it's hard, because it takes forever to get where it's going. We started discussing the David Bowie song about Major Tom...that song is so upsetting. I really liked hanging out with Ethan's friends, it was fun. And seeing Ethan was awesome too (he was staff at the camp where I was a CIT). We were tight, actually we rode the same bus. He was the "bus leader". I think I have a lot more to say but some important people just signed online and I am freezing cold.

Hope you are warm,
S
