(no subject)
My hand has been itching to draw. I keep doodling in the margins of my notes, a habit I broke out of in fifth grade. I need to draw something, anything. I haven't really gotten back in the swing of things since my Calculus induced "internet break". Perhaps I should do some photo-realistic portraits of some actors and such just to test my horrible skills in realism. First up should be House from my new addiction, "House M.D." Such a nice show. Either that or Hiratio from CSI Miami. Someone real, you know? Just to see if I can draw from a photograph.
Lent, day one: I miss you Mountain Dew! Haha, I kid. I can go without Mt Dw for a while, it's just that I have to get used to not buying soda. I get so used to it I'll punch the buttons without thinking. But I'm not addicted! Just...used to it.
What am I doing writting! I need to draw something, anything. Anything good that is. I have a pet peeve where if I draw something hideous, I have to find a fresh page in my sketchbook. I can't stand trying to draw something decent next to a patch of ugliness spawned from my hand. So I end up having a few pages of nastiness amongst my sketches, and then people ask to look through the book and just...ugh. I need to spend some quality time alone with my sketchpad. Maybe I'll use the humongous pad I got for Christmas for some big project...thinger. Meh.
