Well its been a while since I posted because I had my operation and was incapicitated. So I was going to get knocked out completely because they say it is probably the best choice (it just costs more), but I supposedly was not supposed to eat OR drink anything after 6am, and therefore got shot up with valium. It was quite an experience. I felt it right away, and everything became very surreal. So I was partially awake during the operation, I actually may have had my eyes open the whole time, but just didn't remember it. All I remember was seeing a piece of my cartilage being pulled out of my nostril and looking at it being held by a pair of tweezers. Then they put it back into my nose again. That's all, didn't feel a thing though.

However, The really aweful part came after the operation. So I left with big things stuck up both of my nostrils, and had to wear it for 2-3 days, don't really remember how long it was actually. Its usually shorter than that but since there was a bunch of shattered bone, the doctor (Mr. Pollack who was polish)wanted to keep it in for a little while longer. In a nutshell, it sucked. I threw up on Vicadin a couple times, and just basically had a continuous massive headache that kept me from really even getting up for more than 10 minutes.

Then I finally got the packing removed and could sort of breath free and clear. I felt a ton better already, got some food over at the Olive Garden (bitches love it) and it was all downhill from there.

Which brings us to now, the wedding. It was very nice. I mistook the bride form the first lady and started playing the wedding theme when she walked down the aisle, and ended up playing one of the longest wedding themes ever. But it was my first wedding and it was a good time.

(I also pissed off Kibble because I thought he was grumpy at me. Sorry Kibble!)

It was a little aggravating how much the wedding was like a sermon. I don't think I want my wedding to be tied to any religious organization. Maybe just have just a friend read the vows or something. I don't know.

Then we ate and played our rockin set. The levels were not perfect, but when are they? It was a good experience to play in a wide open area. For some reason, I expected a lot more people to dance. But I guess we weren't poppy enough to really get everyone involved (with no singer and such).

Some guy with a dog said all our music sounded the same, which was a humbling experience.

It was nice to see Angie again. Hadn't seen her in a while. Where have you been? Maybe I'll just read your live journal, if I get invited.

Thats long Post, G!

Side note: Songs like "Well Git It" by the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra are the reason I love Big Band music.
