What is an opinion? An Opinion is defined as “A belief or conclusion held with confidence but not substantiated by positive knowledge or proof” by the Merriam Webster dictionary but Id like to pursue that farther. We say we have opinions but how many of those are truly novel? How may of our unique ideas are nothing but dogmatic beliefs seeded by our role models and grown within the accepting soil of our ID? Of course we know what we believe on a topic but sometimes we don't know why. “I don’t know why its true. it just is!” Is usually not the accepted retort among Harvard grads. We esteem ourselves above other species of Animalea with our ability to be cognizant and self sentient but some truly aren’t. Some are merely recording devices in a glorified encasing. We absorb information, privy it to no change or altercation in our mental repertoire, and then regurgitate it upon command; as if asserting our own self-deduced ideas.
