Holy shit it's been a long time since I was able to update this thing.
My class is the English-language course, and they're doing a play in English, Disney-version Aladdin. Considering that it's in a second language and none of them have any acting experience, it's not too bad. In addition to a couple small roles, I'm helping design set and lights, and being the acting and language coach. It's really interesting, but sometimes frustrating because Japanese high schoolers are all very shy.
If anyone remembers, I am in Guitar Club (rock bands), and I am pumped for our concert in June. I'm drumming in a Japanese song and singing Help! XD It was kinda weird hearing my voice in the mike and through the amps, though.
I have discovered that in Japan, rental stores have CDs as well as DVDs. I am totally in love with them, I'm renting a lot of CDs (way cheaper than buying them).
LOVE FOR J-ROCK! <3
And here's the biggest news:
Yesterday evening (Tuesday) I was riding home on my bike after practice and I fell. I was riding on the sidewalk, on a kinda downward slope, and there were two girls walking home in front of me, so I went into the side of the road to avoid them. When I tried to get back onto the sidewalk in a driveway, instead of going over the slight bump the wheels went alongside it and the bike fell over. I've got a couple scrapes, and there was a wide cut on my forehead. I had to go to the hospital last night and get stitches. (I don't know how many, either.) I have to keep the bandage on my forehead for 10-14 days, its kinda annoying. And I'm gonna have a scar, but I don't mind. Also, local anesthetics suck.
That's all, folks!
