Here is the e-mail I just sent everyone... thought I would post it... I can't even tell you how excited/scared/grown-up I feel!!!! Anyway, read on!!!
Hey everyone!
Sorry for the impersonal e-mail, but I wanted to let you all know that I am moving away from Davis back to the Bay Area because I got a job!!!! I am employed as a 7th grade math (and DRAMA?!?!?!?!) teacher at Burlingame Intermediate School. I am very excited about having my own classroom and teaching in such a great district. The administration and teachers are great and it seems like a very positive environment for me to start out my teaching career. I will have 4 7th grade Pre-Algebra classes and 2 7th grade drama classes (which I admit I'm a bit nervous about, but hopefully with my theatre experience and the help of some of my theatre friends, it will all work out...that was a hint to my theatre friends) :) So since Davis is not very close to Burlingame, I am moving back to Palo Alto to live with my parents for at least the first part of the year until I get settled at school.
