Guns and Gunners [active]
Character(s): Ramirez, anyone who cares to join. (Like the other gunners if they're not busy *hinthint*)
Content: Ramirez checks out the shiny guns... and realizes he doesn't know what the heck he's doing. Hm.
Setting: The Hajimaru, at that place with all the guns.
Time: Monday, Week 2, Morning.

There were only so many times he could check guns over before he started to feel as if he might go mad--especially since, strictly speaking, he wasn't qualified to be a gunner. Strictly speaking, of course. When applying he'd hinted that he was really, really good at killing people, but now that he was actually on the ship he realized that there was a lot more to being a gunner than just... whatever it was gunners did.
Ramirez had decided that trying to figure out how to use the cannons while, say, in the middle of battle was a bad idea, so he'd then realized it would be a good idea to learn while lives weren't in danger. Unfortunately, just tinkering around with such dangerous things might cause bad things to happen, like explosions, and so Ramirez had come to an unfortunate conclusion: he would have to request a fellow gunner to teach him, as he definitely wasn't about to admit incompetence to the captain. He'd just have to hope that news about his... temporary inability wouldn't reach the captain's ears. And meanwhile, he'd just have someone teach him.
This meant he would have to be polite. More than that, he would have to be... nice.
And so Ramirez stood and waited, shoulders tense, and with a frown threatening to storm his expression. Hopefully one of the other gunners would arrive soon. If not, he'd just have to hope someone competent in the area of cannons and such would chance upon him.
