(no subject)
So happier entry. i've been told i need to update this more often. (aly :p)
im becoming obsessed with the idea of getting a new ring. i have no idea why, but i just do. its strange for me to think about changing something because usually im against it. see, ive been wearing the same ring since middle school, you guys know it, its the one with the little footprints on it. now, i still love this ring, don't get me wrong, but i dunno im 21 years old and i feel like i am getting to the point in my life where i need to stop wearing a ring on my left ring finger unless i have a reason to (i.e. engagement ring or the like). not that anything like that is to happen anytime soon (that i know of.....)
so in my searches i have become slightly obsessed with Etsy. Its an online site that hosts thousands of little shops of handmade art, jewlery, and even beauty products! you name it, its probably on there. anyhoo i think i have found a new ring. i just wish i could try it on first. here's what it looks like. you guys let me know what you think.
on another note, tomorrow is the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. i am WAY excited for this. there is something about seeing all the different countries coming together for something that is in no way political is just a neat thing.
i go back to school in a few weeks. i can't believe the summer has flown this fast. i think im finally getting my mind wrapped around being a senior at wheaton. it most certianly won't be the same next year. key people are missing, but i know they will visit when and if they can. and all i can ask is that the keep in touch. its my biggest fear to loose touch with really close friends. im guilty of not being good at staying in touch, but im trying and will try my best.
oh and best news? im getting a new computer soon. :) YAY!!!!!! mmmm macbook.mmmmmmm
