006 ♚ they'll keep us apart and they won't stop breaking us down

It started with a simple request from both Charles and Erik, whether the information was sent out with telepathic nudges or either men going face to face for an appeal to keep the group together. In the midst of what would await them within a few months, despite whatever animosity and differences did await them seconds, days, years in the future, back on Earth, the pair had at least decided one thing was essential -- there needed to be some resemblance of unity on their part.
While Charles had initially suggested this take place at their own apartment, their shenanigans the other day (See Erik’s last post) had rendered the place nearly a complete mess, and neither of them were particularly inclined to clean up just yet, leaving the pair at a particular dilemma as to where to host this. With Alex complaining about the fact that the apartments over Stark Industries were unbearable, the suggestion had at least occurred to Erik that in trying to keep everyone together might actually have some merit if they tried to settle in there.
But of course, what attempt at getting together a “family”, for lack of a better word, would occur without the inclusion of free food and beer? A family, if they could be called that -- Erik preferred the term, as unfitting as it was, because it meant a sense of unity among the mutants, whether they knew him as his elder self, or the version he was currently. Given the directions things were heading in, despite whatever arguments people would have, they needed to address matters, keep themselves together for the most part.
