[Jacen's seated against the wall, legs propped up on the table in front of him, a datapad resting against his knee that he's examining with a great deal of focus and scrutiny. Bother at will.]

[ Tonks has plenty of will! She drops down into the seat opposite Jacen and promptly knocks over the other chair next to her. ]

What are you up to?

[ She rights the chair back to a standing position but doesn't pay it much attention beyond that. Tonks is used to furniture falling over sideways at the sight of her. ]

[His eyes flick up towards her, full of humor, and he subtly lifts a finger to keep the chair from wobbling back over with a little stable push from the Force.]

Reading up on some ... Mon Calamari culture.

Anything I should know? I wouldn't want to offend the locals and become fish food.

[ Tonks is very aware that calamari is also squid in her own world but she's not carrying any tartar sauce with her. ]

Have you met any Quarrens before?

Because they tend to have a lot of... racial pride, one could say. In other words, they aren't particularly fond of humans, even after thousands of years of working with them in my time.

In other words, try not to bump into one?

Perhaps 'give them a wide berth' might be the better advice.

If you get a chance, check out one of their underwater cities. I imagine they might be even more interesting at this period in time.
