To say Lilah was looking forward to Lindsey's visit would be an exaggeration, but she knew it would work out to her advantage. After all, he had found an in before she had, and while that was annoying as hell, she'd have to make do with it. After all, whether they liked it or not, they were kind of in this together. Without Wolfram and Hart around, they definitely needed to find other things to protect themselves from. Especially since it seemed either Angel or vision girl had tipped off Buffy about what they did for a living.
So while he might not be her first choice, an alliance was in her favor for now. And Lilah always did what was best for her own interest, whether she liked it or not. And at the very least, Lindsey was familiar. She knew how he worked, how he operated. The familiar was welcome, considering how much was new and unknown here.
When she heard the knock on her door she rose to her feet to open it. "It's about time." Not that she had really been waiting that long, but it wasn't like she'd actually give him a friendly greeting. It just wasn't her style. Not unless she was playing at an angle.
