{WAREHOUSE-2} // slayerdom September 12 2011, 01:21:58 UTC
The warehouse two group was, at least, a little smaller than the last one. And by now she'd done this before. So, while she explained to them the dangers and the mission, she passed out weapons like a pro -- to anyone who didn't have one already, of course. And she made sure to hook Varric up with that bowcaster that he worked miracles with ( ... )

[Hawke is just going to pause for a moment. V. srs thinking happening here.] --I am correct in assuming Marian is me, yes? [Because she seriously needs to double check, people use it that rarely]

[ That gets a smile and Buffy nods, looking lightly apologetic. ] Yeah. Sorry, I -- There are a lot of Hawkes on this planet. First names, generally the safer choice.

Oh believe me, I know all about the abundance of Hawkes. There are more Hawkes in this world than in my world. If you like, you can give us numbers. [Wandering over to look at some of those weapons *u* And picking out something ridiculously heavy and sword shaped.] Now this is something I could get used to. [She hefts it, testing its weight] Lightsabers are all well and good, but sometimes you just want something with a little weight behind it.

You think that's nice? I was thiiiiis close to getting the Wookiee warblade. Not that ... that would have done anybody else much good, since they take "little weight" to the extreme. [ herp. ] You are more than welcome to bring that puppy with you for mission-time. Just as long as you give me a number to stamp on your forehead so I know which Hawke to distinguish you as.

[When Buffy came over to address them, Axel soon found himself armed with a vibro-staff for melee combat and a blaster for ranged. He'd vaguely hoped for a set of chakrams, but admitted to himself that her having any of those was unlikely. Also, they wouldn't exactly have been the best things for holding down the number of casualties. Hence his choice of a staff instead of a sword; if he had to use a weapon he was less than familiar with, best make it a fairly non-lethal one.

He nodded as Buffy explained the plan.] Sounds simple enough. Which, of course, means it'll actually be alot more complicated than that. But we'll get it done.

Now there's the pinnacle of optimism I like to see. [ She gives a wry smile though and nods. ] Yeah, it'll be tough. But, we'll do it.

[He smirks and gives her a small mock-bow.] I aim to please. [A bit more serious] But yeah, gotta expect the unexpected with stuff like this. Nothing's ever as straightforward as it looks on paper. Or whatever passes for paper around here.

[Have a mock salute Buffy] And with minimal damage all around I take it? At least it will be challenging.

Blow all the duracrete and equipment you wanna sky high. But little-to-no people damage if you can help it.

[and he shrugs] You got it, oh fearless leader.

[From the sidelines] You and explosions, Anders, I swear to the Maker...

[Have the most innocent face ever 8) ] Little explosions, promise! They'll be more like friendly reminders that we were there.

And if you've gotta make 'em slightly bigger explosions to make those reminders less friendly, I won't hold it against you.

Well, nothing says 'I disagree with your methods, serah' like a nice fireball to some woodwork. Or... space woodwork, I'm still not sure how that works here.

Duracrete. It's like concrete, except. Y'know. Durable.
