As the group that had been identified as those who'd be taking part in Watchtower gathered in front of her at the weapons shed, Buffy set her vibro-axe down at her side, leaning it against the doorjamb and giving it a rest. There was less to be done with rallying the troops here -- she could count on them to take care of themselves and handle their own thing because, well--

"Let's face it. You guys know way more than me about just about anything that has an 'on' button. So, you know what you're doing and how to do it. I don't need to hold your hand and embarrass all of us. But, what I can do is tell you what I need you to do. You can figure out the hows all on your own." She crossed her arms over her chest, leaning back against the shipping container casually

[Andrew raises his hand.] It also lowers her chances of being, um, violently cut in half.

[Awkward shifting] Not that.... That's ever happened before. It's just a concern.

[Anya looks annoyed.] I'd like to not get violently cut in half. And I understand technology just fine, you know, I may have been born a millennium ago but I have been living in present times since present times started. Honestly.

Anya, what they're doing is a little beyond the level of "just fine." I understand it just fine too, and I couldn't do it.

[Chuckles, and yes, of course he's there. Even more determined now that he knows that Sam is coming down. Possibly with the same sickness they are battling today.] Thank you. I'm pretty sure the only thing I can promise is that my approaches are unexpected. A friend once pointed out that I take things and look at them sideways and they suddenly more sense.

It makes programming that doesn't rely on brute force thousands of times greater than what I have access to... much less problematic to get into.
