"Wait," she said quietly, mostly to herself, as squeezed through the crowd in an attempt to approach Revan. "Wait! Wait!"
But he was already gone.

And finally the Senator was dead, and Catty felt hollow. The Fates had some sense of humor, trading in one ancient evil for a competent force of violence.
Numbly, she followed Shiori, grabbing onto the woman's elbow to pull her back. "See? He wasn't going to stick around for us."
And yet, knowing everything about him, knowing that the sight of him revolted her, why did she want so desperately for him to stay and help her, help them all?

"I don't know. He's killed two senators from this place, Eshan. That can't be good. It's almost like... targeting." She mulled that over, tossing it around her head a little. "I don't understand anything that happens here."

"You're right, it is strange...but why would he be targeting them specifically? To provoke them? Or..." Shiori shook her head. "I need to find out more about these Eshani. Maybe there's something in the Jedi archives that would help it make sense."

"To prove a point? The Echani are meant to be a warrior race. You have heard what they call Yusanis. They say 'General' more than they say 'Senator'." She frowned, not liking that she was beginning to involve herself in these politics, in Revan's games. "If he can kill a powerful leader on their terms, Revan's strength is proven. Right?"

Shiori began leading the way to a small park nearby where they could sit comfortably. "I suppose...maybe he felt they needed to recover some of their image after Telos. Revan was against what was done there..." She shook her head. "But they were comrades...ah, what am I thinking. There's probably nothing beyond what we saw on the network."

Catty followed behind Shiori, keeping an eye out on people they passed by, but nobody seemed interested in them at all. She smiled, breathing a silent sigh of relief. Sitting down on the bench, she ran her fingers through her dark hair, biting down on her lip. "Against it or not, the fact that the Sith blew up Telos is still there... And maybe... Well... I don't know! Maybe he was lying about not being behind it. He is the one leading this war, the one killing these people. He could have lied to us all to get us to believe in him."
