Hey there kids!

Word. Show tomorrow ( well technically today I guess ) @ Sputnix in Salem, MA. Everyone go, it's gonna be a good time.

I must be really bored to be updating this thing. I've spent this whole week working, so I haven't done too much. The other night I hung with Jim and Ganj, which was great, cuz I never see Ganj anymore. We did the usual idiotic shit, and we pranked everybody in the world.

I'm debating whether or not to buy back stage passes to Dream Theater or spend my money on a keyboard. I'm so into learning how to play right now. I just want to have more options when I write, and plus it will give me a jumpstart on Berklee. Eventually I want to put together a studio in my basement and buy some drums, a bass, or whatnot and record my own stuff. Right now my music is taking such a creative turn, as a result of me for once thinking outside the box. I've been so used to playing stuff I that I know works, that I haven't really explored the guitar. I'm finally getting to that now and I find I'm discovering all sorts of new things. I've also spent so long just sticking to basics, not venturing out of key or scale or what not. However now I'm becoming more ambitious and the results are staggering. I'm looking forward to taking my playing to the next level at Berklee ( omly 6 months away! ). I'm hoping that taking up the keyboard with open up new doors in my playing as well as overall muscianship. I can't wait to start. The band is doing great, and I love what we're doing, but I know it will not always be my thing. I'm more into it now than ever, but I see years down the road me growing out of it. However its useless to think so much about the future and not just let your self live in the present.

Anyways, I'm out. Have a good one.
