I would like to take this opportunity, this grand moment in time, to celebrate the one, the only, the drood.
This is a person who trudged out on a gorgeous summer day to spend time with me, my Viking partner Scott, and a whole lotta kids with KFC to see a puppet show. Which he took seriously. I respect him, I admire him, I adore him. His togetherness, his with-it-ness, and his ability to be at the same time the most mature human being I know and the one most able to hold onto childlike wonder never cease to amaze me. I am so very glad that this medium has allowed me to get to know him, and continually saddened that my job sends me places just far enough away from the bugger that I haven't been able to crash Karaoke.
