Guess who's BACK

Yeah, it's been a while. I didn't write anything about Graduation, or about Prom, or about Banquet because more likely than not it would just consist of how much I'm gonna miss those people; and things like that just go unsaid. Besides the fact that I'm REALLY gonna miss those people, and I don't need to write that down.

So orientation at U Hartford was amazing. I must say that I'm gonna enjoy this fall, and probably the next four years if all goes like this. I get there and there are these upper-HART-classmen that we're told to call "Red caps". So the Red Caps are screaming and shouting "WELCOME TO HARTFORD!!! YEAH!!!" and pointing us to our parking spots too. We're told to follow a line of Red caps to the residence halls, get our keys to our dorms, and move in to our rooms. My roomate was cool, he was Pre-law, I was an Acting major, so we didn't really have much to talk about. After the move into our rooms, we left for lunch. The food was delicious, and the coffee there was even better. I can tell I'm gonna be a coffee-caffeine freak come this fall.

Everyone majoring in any type of performing arts was put in the HARTT school. I'm an Acting/Theater major, so I'm in the Hartt school. Anyway, for pretty much all of orientation, the HARTT school people stuck together. I sat at a table with other Hartt members, and struck up a conversation about something completely random. I think it was why we were given little straws to stir coffee with instead of something more reasonable like....I don't know, A SPOON.

In any case, the whole day was pretty much a bore. Although I didn't realize it then, but I was actually sick. Still am, but I'll get to that. I had a fever, and was shivering cold when it was like 90 degrees outside. I was the only one with a jacket on the entire day. For dinner I had to go back to my dorm and sleep. I woke up in time to re-join my Hartt people for the evening Hypnotist. Let me tell you right now, I didn't believe in Hypnosis, still don't, but somehow, someway, that man got a group of people I knew to fall into a deep sleep just by saying the word "sleep". Now I'm not sure what to believe. The night ended with some very close dancing, pizza, and my fainting due to a 100 and something temperature.

The next morning was bittersweet. The people who were hypnotized don't remember a thing, and by that morning I've eaten more than I've eaten in about a year. Their food is SOOOO good. I mean it. DELICIOSOOO!! Ok I'm done. After breakfast, it was more about the school, signing for loans, and buying shit. It wasn't long before all of the HARTT people were saying goodbye and all that. We knew it wasn't goodbye, it was more like, "I'll see you in like 12 weeks dude, take care!"

After a two hour drive back home, I came to Sharon and hung out with Sarah. Afterwards I went to Jess's where we found Tasha who'd been missing for like two days, and Trav came by and we all hung out then. Eventually I came home and once again passed out because of this damn...Whatever I have now. I honestly can't wait to go to college. My schedule is AWESOME. I have one class on Mondays and Fridays, and that's a movement class. I NEVER have to take academics EVER again. I LOVE being a Theater Major.

So now I'm free until Friday in which case I'm working again. But until then I'm sleeping. If anyone has any plans for this week or next. You know my cell. Gimme a call. I'll be here. Sleeping. That is all. Goodnight.
