For approximately 2(two) minutes, I thought about going to school there. That is the famous
tower at The University of Texas, by the way. "Don't Mess With Texas!" "Everything Is Bigger In Texas!" Wasn't that tower part of the plot of one of the
Urban Legends movies? I wouldn't really know because I couldn't sit through more than 30(thirty) minutes of either of the movies. That's beside the point.
The feeling of Friday is purely amazing. You know you only have one class to attend, so you sleep until the last possible moment, stumble to class in sweats and a
hoody without a shower, and halfway pay attention for 55(fifty-five) minutes. Then, you make the evil decision to not practice, but instead go eat a huge meal at somewhere like The Patio or Bates Cafe (I suppress all urges to pervertedly comment here). After stuffing yourself with incredibly fattening foods like pizza, hamburgers,
"Freedom Fries", mac and cheese, and the most important bowl of ice cream with marble brownie, you go back to your room and sit around in a pair of boxer briefs all day, while watching useless shows on TV. To top it all off, you end up talking on the
Internet and surfing The Web for 'silly' stuff until it's suddenly time for dinner. You decide it might be a good idea to take a shower, so you indulge in a hot, looong shower. After a partially satisfying
Chick-fil-a sandwich and waffle fries, you strut back to your room, only to strip down to boxer briefs, once again, and waste the evening away with idle chatter online. mmm, the best recipe for
success.
Currently, I am in the back seat of Ryan's Black Honda Accord, riding to
"Rock Thrill" for the weekend. I'm chilling with him tonight and meeting up with Emily and Hannah tomorrow sometime to go cook dinner for Mok.
Mok is Hannah's amazing grandmother. Let me tell you about this woman. She is like 70(seventy) and she acts like she's 35(thirty-five). For example, she enjoys Rollerblading, water skiing (including
WAKEBOARDING!), aerobics, etc. She gives me utmost hope for my eventual old age. I've always said that I want to be the most active 90(ninety) year old man around. I want to still have the ability to get on a trampoline and do back tucks, or run 2 miles at the gym, or do a
roundoff - back handspring on the ground. I would die a happy man. So back to this Mok thing... Her husband died a while back, and we thought it would be nice to go and cook an Italian dinner for her on
Valentine's Day. Good luck to
us!
Tinker has never seen Meet Joe Black, so I think we are going to be watching that DVD sometime tonight. I brought my
Airport Base Station, so that I can have wireless upstairs at Ryan's place. My goal this weekend is to accomplish all the small tasks that I've been gradually adding to a list. I really need to type up my letter of request for sponsorship and send it out to my family and friends. I HAVE to complete my Preston Re-Application. bleh. Zoom Zoom Zoom
