Update Part One
First things first - GO HEELS!!!!
With that out of the way, a lot has happened since my last half-assed quiz update, actually we'll start before it:
Easter
By some freak occurance I got Friday and Saturday off without asking for it, so I popped home for Easter a couple nights. I had to be back in Wilmington by 5pm Sunday and I didn't get into Cary until very early Friday morning, so it was a short visit. Spent both nights at Lisa's house, one time sleeping in and running into her Dad the next morning. I don't think her parents care that I sleep over (vs. my old-fashioned mom), but it still felt a little awkward. He offered me breakfast, but I was going out to eat in a couple hours so I politely turned it down.
I never understood how my Mom is so prudish about boyfriends and girlfriends (just get Jen started on this...), she's laid back about most other things.
Jen and I took Dad out for lunch to celebrate his 54th birthday. I think our waiter was on coke and Prozac - happy and energetic service is good, but it's one of those things one can push too far.
I then rode with Jen in the Blue Meanie (now hers) to K-mart for jumper cables and while we were there she got a nice hula girl for the back. I think it was named "Gracie" but she may have changed her mind.
On the topic of cars, I fucked up Mom's Mercedes a little bit. While backing out of the garage, I assumed the car was in there straight so I backed straight out. The next thing I knew I completly killed her right side view mirror. That was vey embarrassing and technically my first accident. I also went back to Wilmington with the only key in my pocket and had to UPS it back to Cary. This hasn't been my weekend with cars.
