Equally shocked by the news of the infamous pirate ship, the 4423, crashing within rough and rugged terrain of the Badlands, the anxious mechanic found himself even more shocked by the blood curdling announcement the Admiral made a few moments after the news finally reached the Victoria II. 'We are going to slaughter them...' Kiros thought silently to himself as he wandered down the empty halls of the ship. 'As if they are mere animals...' Judging by the devious glee within the Admiral's words, it seemed that the Victoria II was now heading to the crash site of the 4423 to apprehend the rogues of the pirate ship. Of course anyone who had any common sense knew that apprehending these pirates would eventually lead up to killing them instead, especially since Kiros doubted any member of the 4423 would willingly be taken in by a bunch of Ivonian military dogs!
'Just a bunch of military dogs...'
Kiros stopped in front of the boatswain's office, almost too hesitant to knock as he stared at the fancy reddish-brown would of the office's door. A deep sigh came from the mechanic as he knocked once and let himself into the office without awaiting the lieutenant commander's permission. He knew that Hijikata was already expecting him and simply did not want to keep him waiting any longer.
Spotting the officer near the desk, Kiros saluted him for the first time since he met the moody commander. He was nervous to meet with Hijikata now, nervous that he would let his tongue slip and voice his 'unwanted' opinions again. Judging by the angry tone the Admiral took with Kiros earlier, the mechanic really did not want to end up on anyones bad side, especially not the higher officers.
But, he simply did not agree with what was happening now...
In fact, Kiros was beginning to 'loathe' the military for being so tactless and cruel. Especially the crew of the Victoria II.
"You wanted to see me, sir?"
