The two men bowed their heads slightly to Edgeworth. Coelho gave Matilda the small trunk he had been carrying, and the two left after quick and curt farewells. Matilda stared after them, unable to help the slightly miffed feeling the bubbled within her chest. After all these years that was all they had to give her. Her eyes stayed on them for a little longer than necessary, before she finally made forced herself to look at Edgeworth, her eyes having to travel a ways up to meet his.

She recognized him, of course. She was certain any Ivonian would. He looked a little more imposing than he appeared in all the photographs, but Matilda knew that he must be a good man. After all he was First Mate on the Victoria II, wasn't he? A prestigious ship devoted to protecting Ivona, and righting the wrong. It was a little exciting in a way, but also intimidating and she couldn't help the slight bout of shyness that took over her.

She bowed a little, unable to curtsy with the trunk in her hand and then righted herself, unable to keep her curious eyes off him. "It's good to meet you, Mr. Edgeworth."
