He was now going to drop off something for one of the Boatswains men. He knocked on the office door, grumbling under his breath. He hated holidays with a passion and decided that a good stiff drink would be in order.

Well, it wouldn't hurt now, the boatswain supposed as he grunted and looked back down at his paperwork, munching on another senbei cracker before calling aloud. "Come in; door's unlocked."

"Hijikata," he grunted out first through the puff of cigarette in-between his lips. "My name's in the other order. Hijikata's my surname." Not that I belong there any more anyway, his mind decided to add on which caused a scowl to cross his face for a moment before it disappeared. "You're... the newest quartermaster?" the man harbored a guess. Goodness knows how much they needed one, especially their only active one was that brat of an officer.

"Yes, I am the new Quartermaster. Commander Zechs Marquise." He replied calmly.

He paused in his paperwork when Zechs introduced himself, hearing his rank as a Commader, no less. What was it with all these people bearing higher or lower ranking than him? As far as he knew he was the only Lieutenant Commander on board, and that did irk him somewhat; not that he would ever say it though. "...I see. Its a pleasure to meet you, sir," he replied with a curt nod, "Is there any reason why you're here today, then?"

Zechs curled his lip in distaste. God he hated holidays. He really did wish they would just die.
"Thus the reason for my visit Lt. Commander, I brought your Lunasa gift."

"Hn... I'll take it then, since you've bought it all the way here, sir," the samurai said as he looked up from his paperwork once more, glancing to see his bag of senbei crackers still three-quarters full. It would still be a while before he finished eating them.
