Content: Lunasa gifts and stuff~
Setting: Hijikata's office on the ship.
Time: Lunasa, from late morning to early evening.
Warnings: The usual snarking and death glares and growls of seppuku (that will never happen). And of course, the usual language of the Hijikatas, which includes much swearing.
Lunasa.
Hijikata didn't necessarily hate the holiday, but he did find it a real bother. He had no real reason to celebrate it anyway; the only thing he had on his schedule would be having to go over to Kondo's later to watch as the elder got himself drunk with booze with the others that were all once in his dojo. A gathering, a celebration of old friends, one could easily put it that way. For Hijikata though, it was just a way to spend his time until the time came for him to do what he really wanted to do later. Ha already bought the crackers...
Bought more than he needed, actually; so he was eating from one of the extra packs now, hand reaching in to grab a cracker to munch on idly as he did up whatever paperwork he still hadn't attended to yet, including the ones of the other boatswains that had left their share undone. He had nothing better to do anyway, and the deadline to submit all of them was coming rather close - von Karma wouldn't take kindly to late submissions. So the man had taken it upon himself to get all of them out of trouble, at the very least.
Sighing mentally, the boatswain only continued his work, occupying himself somewhat by that and the senbei crackers that he munched on.
[OOC: Ooookay, here's how it works - people from the Vic can drop by his office to disturb him/say hi/give him his Lunasa gift/whatever you want. Post in a new thread for each new visitor, unless you want to intrude on another which is fine by me too, and if the mun of the other character(s) is alright by that.
