Her books, pictures, and booze were safely stashed in her room, the journal with her in a pocket she'd lined with oil-cloth against a situation something like this, so that she could keep atop of the situation even while down here.

Let's see, food, booze...no wait...some gunpowder, the rest can dry out, maps Anko ran through the impromptu list she'd put together in her head of things to save--unless someone directed her otherwise.

And people of course, if she came across anyone in need of rescuing.

There would be time to worry about possibly crashing and dying later...if there was a later.

Reno, too, had saved everything important (his booze, the EMR, food, even that stupid shirt Axel'd given him), but there were two problems.

He couldn't swim. And he had to find Axel. He really didn't want to know what happened when you got a fire mage with poor control wet.

So he was standing near the storerooms, a more than a little freaked out.

Rushing down to the storage room after taking care of the leaking pipes a few halls away, the only worry the samurai now had was for the supplies. If they are going to crash land this ship in the middle of nowhere, they better take as much supplies as they can possibly carry! Unlike everyone else who were more focused in saving the booze and food, Kambei decided he will be the one to save the medicine and first aid kits they had scattered about. He was sure judging by the frequent hot steam pouring out from some of the pipes now, that many of the crew men would be suffering from second degree burns and such.

That is if they only had mere burns to worry about.

"Is there anyone down here!?" Kambei shouted over the chaotic roar of the failing engines and panicked cries above. "Reno!" He yelled over toward the red-head, noticing the fearful gaze within the pilot's eyes. "SNAP OUT OF IT! If you are here to help, do so!"

"I've already saved shit!" called the red head. "I'm looking for Axel!"

For once, Reno was too freaked out to be sarcastic.

"Axel?" Damn it! Did another crew member venture down below to the sub levels without telling anyone?! Bad enough they had that feeble girl to save down there, now the crew is missing yet another member?!

"When was the last time you spoke to him?"

"I don't know! I don't have a watch, yo!" replied Reno. "And I don't know where the hell he is, just that I can't find him!"

"Alright then, if you are done here head back above!" Kambei said just as he was gathering some of the boxed medical supplies in a nearby room. "I'll keep an eye out for Axel or anyone else who may still be here! You should be go back towards the deck!"

Reno glared at Kambei. "Like hell I'm leaving Axel. I'll find him, yo. You go back on deck."

Did a pilot outrank a gunner? Reno didn't know, but really didn't care either.

Giving Reno a bit of a glare for a moment, it dawned on him that if he can't shoo the pesky pilot out of here...
"Then why don't you give me a hand with these boxes, then?" Kambei asked, quite sure the two of them together could save most of the medical supplies.

"Forget it, I've got to find my brother. Get the boxes yourself, yo."

With that, Reno sucked up his issue with water and started wading through the flood, trying to find Axel.

Pinning the most loathsome glare the old samurai could ever mustered up against an individual, Kambei had a few choice words to say to the flippant pilot. "Be as it may, if you was any kind of a man you would know where your priorities should lie." He said rather venomously, lacing so much malice within his remark before he went to work to struggle lugging the supplies on his own.

Reno halted, turning back to Kambei. That bastard.

"I know where my priorities lie, old man." Muttering a few choice curses (oh how he wished he had SOME magic skill), the pilot turned his back on the samurai.

Axel came way before anyone else on the damn ship.

"Hopefully he'll drown..." Kambei allowed himself the luxury of saying such mean spirited words now that the other left. His morale dwindling greatly for a safe conclusion for this crisis if all of the crew members are as foolish as that idiot pilot.

She'd gotten three boxes of the medical supplies that were most important at the moment above the water-flooded decks and was heading back for the next load, when she ran into someone, almost literally. The red-head was instantly recognizable to her. "Reno! What are you doing down here?" He shouldn't be down here. He was a Kropmork kid after all, with a river one could walk on, skills or no.

Reno caught Anko's arm.

"Looking for Axel, the bastard. He's a fire mage and I really don't wanna find out what happens to him when he's wet, yo," Reno explained. He'd berate himself for actually showing concern for his brother later.

He didn't look like his usual, cocky self, Anko noticed. It unnerved her a little.

Ooo, right, fire mage. Water. Maybe not a good combination. "Any idea where he is?" She asked, frowning.
