Carol had been in room stressing. It bothered her more than she'd like to admit that the Victoria II was heading toward Melinor. She'd been debating about whether she should write in her journal or just break out some whiskey when she smelled smoke.

Figuring this wasn't a good sign Carol walked out of her room following the smell to Harry's room she tried the knob surprisingly finding it unlocked. As she looked at the scene she couldn't help but stare at the purple flames for a split second, she the noticed Harry frantically trying to put out the odd flames.

"What the hell did you do?" her shock and fear of the ship burning didn't leave any room for being polite.

Harry nearly jumped out of his skin, spinning around to face Carol.

"WHA! Hell's Bells Carol! Don't sneak up on me like that!" He blinked, turning back to the fire and his now completely gone blanket.

"Er... I was trying to help? Honest?"

Carol couldn't help smirk a little as Harry jumped an exclaimed 'Hell's Bells.' She also began to wonder if he was somewhat skittish person, but the fire again grabbed her attention and she remembered there was plenty of reason to be jumpy.

"It's ok we just need to figure out, some way, to put it out. Will just water help? I'm asking cause, well, it doesn't really look normal," she didn't really care for magic which probably had to do with the fact she didn't know how to handle it, and it seemed to cause strange things like this to occur.

Harry exhaled loudly, trying to ignore the smirk. Not that he hadn't earned it...

"Can't hurt to try. To be perfectly honest, I'm not sure HOW it even started, let alone WHAT it is. I've never made purple fire before, and tracking spells don't normally explode!" He sighed, grumbling to himself.

Carol could help but reply with what she was thinking when it was tense situations like this there seemed to be not much of a filter between what she thought and her mouth. "Does the purple mean it's stronger or something? It better not be toxic," she said in a partly worried, partly annoyed voice.

Figuring she might as well go with the pouring water on it idea she literally flew out of the room, found a bucket in a storage closet and impatiently waited as it filled up with water from one of the faucets in the bathroom. She then flew back and splashed the water on the fire. "If this doesn't work I'm officially out of ideas."

"It shouldn't be toxic. All the metrails on the table were perfectly harmless..."

He watched her fly off, clicking his tounge. He didn't know she had that ablity.

"Impressive..." he muttered when she came back, looking at the bucket of water and hoping it would work.

It hit the flames, and they sputtered alittle, going down....

Only to billow out a nasty smelling purple smoke, which began to quickly fill the room.

"FUCK!" He bellowed, covering his mouth and hacking

Carol took his mutterings as a compliment and smiled, until the room started filling with a purple smoke.

"Damn it," she muttered while beginning to cough and waved her hand in front of her face, but her vision was still blocked by most of the smoke. "Well at least we're not going to burn to death anymore."

Harry hacked a few more times before covering his face with his coat. He raised his gloved hand, mumbling a few vaugly exotic sounding words.

A small gust of wind kicked up, billowing the smoke away from him and Carol. Well, small for HIM, which ment his papers and other smaller then five pound objects were tossed around the room and into the wall.

One said object was Bob the Skull, who squawked from being woken up so rudely, and began cursing a storm. Harry ignored him.

"That's a LITTLE better..." he grumbled

As her hair flew around her face Carol couldn't help but stare a little wide eyed as Harry right in front of her, summoned a gust of wind. "Well it seems you can do more than start fires," she said in a joking tone.

Raising an eyebrow as she eyed the cursing skull she walked over to it and picked it up. "Do I even want to ask what this is? It has quite a mouth."

Harry smirked at Carol, though he couldn't manage more then that, seeing as if his wind went lower he would end up just starting the fire back up.

But once Carol picked up Bob, thing s got intresting.

"Hehe... more then enough mouth for you, sweetcheeks!" Bob crooed, his 'eyes' glowing with a pale blue light.

Carol glared angry and confused at the skull "What the hell? You I could crush you right now Mr. Rude Skull," she then looked to Harry, "I hope you're not the one making him talk. If you are I gotta say you have some issues." Not that she didn't have her own, but she figured at least she didn't have a hobby of making skulls talk.

"Goddamnit Bob!" Harry yelled, still battling the smoke. Bob just cackled.

"Don't smash him, ok? He's a perv, but I need him. I swear I'm not doing it... He's a wind spirit, a type of monster." Harry babbled, trying to step past the smoke to open a porthole.

Carol smirked, "I guess I won't smash him if he means so much to you." She began looking at Bob with more curiosity as Harry explained the skull it was interesting and yet kinda unnerving that the skull was actually a total separate entity.

"So Bob's your name huh? It certainly is interesting to meet you, just don't make any more rude comments and I won't throw you through a wall."
