Content: After getting shounen-speeched, Ichigo has found his resolve and is going to talk to Yuuko about some things that happened over fourteen years ago.
Setting: Yuuko's quarters
Time: B-b-b-backlogged to near the tail end of the ghost plot!
Warnings: Lethal amounts of cryptic. Also trolling.
Tracking the witch down had been harder than he'd thought. Ichigo's first idea had been to go back down to the engine room -- ha, like she'd still be hanging around there. In hindsight, it was a stupid thing to assume.
But it left him wondering where she was.
It had been all well and good to resolve to meet with her on the deck with Watanuki, but he'd started to lose the sense of determination as it was replaced with irritation. In the end, Ichigo'd had to find out where all the crew members' cabins were, and track down Yuuko's. He'd knock on the door, and if she wasn't there, he could wait.
If he hadn't needed to talk with her so badly, he'd have flipped a table and decided it wasn't worth the search.
But he did need to talk with her.
And soon.
Standing outside her door, Ichigo squared his shoulders, steeling himself. What Watanuki had told him had reassured him some, but the idea of asking her still made something in him freeze up. But knowing my luck, she won't be in here, anyway, he thought, reaching up to knock on the door.
