It had been a while since Naoto had the chance to properly talk with Kanji. The festival meant that both of their workloads were lighter, and they had much more free time to meet up and talk. Naoto was interested in speaking more in depth with Kanji about what he was doing in the time he had been away from the rest of their little group, and she invited him to meet her on the deck where not only less people would be about to eavesdrop, but she could overlook the town of Balisier as well.
While she knew that Kanji didn't turn up any leads, she still wanted to know about his activities. Knowing where he went and what he did might shed some light on the situation, no matter how small of a chance that may be. If they turned up anything new, they could inform the others and maybe things would start finally falling into place.
