Prime stood with his hands behind his back, looking out the main window. Strife on his ship, while he'd been away, grieved him. The Autobot felt personally responsible for his crew, and it bothered him when he wasn't there in times of trouble. It felt like he'd failed them. Leadership was a responsibility.
And one of the responsibilities that came with leadership was discipline. While Optimus understood that Hex had acted while under the influence of an intoxicating substance and that Bumblebee had given it to her in ignorance of what its effects would be, he could not allow this to go unchecked. That was why he had called this meeting: to consult with his officers on the best course of action. While Optimus knew how he would deal with Bumblebee, discouraging Hex would be a far more difficult problem, based on what he'd seen of her personality. He had intelligent minds on this ship, minds more familiar with human culture and social norms. Perhaps they would have some insight. Optimus did not want to expel anyone from his ship if there was any other option.
Patiently, he waited for the officers to arrive.
