Adrian had taken longer than she had expected this morning since some of the crew had lingered for coffee or tea. She nervously bit her lip as she climbed up to the top deck, smoothing out her clean, crisp white top and her modest skirt. It'd be bad if she was holding up Mr. Edgeworth and Mr. Bunansa after they graciously agreed to take her around town and oh--it certainly wouldn't do any good for the reputation of the chefs on board.

She reached the top deck and bit her lip as she stepped out onto the floor and searched for any sign of FFamran before spotting him and walking over.

"Mr. Bunansa, good morning! My apologies if I'm late--some of the crew took rather long this morning for breakfast, strangely enough.."

Edgeworth strolled across the deck, and glanced around for signs of the cook and his fellow escort. It had been some time since he tired of Kropmork's sights (or whatever passed for such), and for years he had a staunch "get in get out and make it quick" attitude towards the island city. However, the rest of the crew, especially newcomers, seemed to be more divided between excitement and disgust. While he was sure that most people would fall into the latter camp by the time the talks were over with, there were still people who planned to wander around and explore to kill their boredom.

He had neither the time nor the inclination to guide all of these lost souls, but Ms. Andrews had an unfortunate interest in Kropmork. Now, Edgeworth couldn't allow harm to come to her: if something happened to Adrian, that left the ship with Ryohei brand disaster and the flaky, albeit talented, redhead. That simply would not do ( ... )

Ffamran greeted both of his morning companions with a grin. "Good morning, Commander, Ms. Adrian."

He looked out over the city, it had certainly lost some of its shine since last night, the bar had been pleasant enough, but the fight on the way home from the Way with Fran was not exactly his idea of a good time.

Despite the fact that he didn't usually carry it, he was also wearing his rapier today. He didn't think it would have been any additional help yesterday, but he had realized it would be ridiculous not to use all of the skills at his disposal, even if he was better with his fists now.

Ffamran was also looking forward to having a more 'official' guide to the city, perhaps he would be able to find some less disreputable bars or -- something.

Smiling at the arrival of Edgeworth, she gave him a shake of her head at his question.

"Nope, I'm quite ready to leave!"

She twisted the hem of her shirt before facing the two men again, this time with a more confident expression.

"You'll have to bare with me if I seem a bit excited, I was never one to travel after all."

Adrian had no doubts that they were the best men on board to have accompany her as escorts but she couldn't help but feel tentative and happy both at once. She certainly didn't want to make a fool of herself, so she'd take care to be extra cautious and careful today.

There will be no tripping or falling on pavements and no clumsy mistakes.

..or atleast that's what she was hoping for.

Adrian nodded solemnly and walked quietly beside the two, content with listening to the sounds of passing vendors and bits of conversations while Ffamran asked a question.

A hand slipped back into her side pocket and she sighed silently in relief when she felt the leather of her wallet against her fingertips.

That letter was the suicide letter of Celeste's. She had gone through so much to be able to keep it and the idea of losing it..or having it stolen was a frightening thought. She just hoped that Mr. Edgeworth or Mr. Bunansa didn't think badly of her for it, or feel suspicious. It was the only thing Adrian allowed herself to cling to.

Her eyes glazed over in thought as the trio continued their walk towards the museum and the grip on her wallet tightened.

"It's not exactly a regular stop," Edgeworth admitted, as he guided them through the streets. "However, the Victoria is no stranger to Kropmork. Ivona still has business with the island, despite its reputation, and there are times where we're required to represent our interests." Not to mention von Karma's more personal connections to the city, but the crew has no reason to know about that.

He turned towards Adrian, and asked, "Are you still interested in the library, Ms. Andrews, or would you rather see the museum?

"How multiculture," Ffamran grinned. "I'd never been out of Ivona before coming here, unless you count flying over the Badlands, which isn't exactly exploring strange cultures."

His father was the explorer, the one who poked around for the possibilities of science in forgotten corners of the islands big and small. Perhaps one of those little islands were where ... he stopped his train of thought.

He would probably have preferred the museum, but the afternoon was Adrian's to choose.

"A-ah, I don't really mind. I enjoy both places equally, honestly. But I suppose whichever is closest would be best!"

She flushed a bit, having been interrupted in her thoughts and offered a small smile towards the both of them. And it was true, she didn't have any objections towards either place and she was simply grateful to be out and about. Even if Kropmork wasn't exactly the safest of places.
