Backup to Kamarov would be provided by Armstrong's group, assigned to guard the warehouse at the same time. Olivier had free rein to place those under her command where she wished. The night was dark and cloudy, a cool wind breaking through the summer heat. The ground was still damp, the unpaved road covered in the day's footprints.

Nena was walking towards her own station when she spotted Gintoki. His hair made it easy, what with the way the moonlight lit it up. Shouldn't he have thought to cover it or something? It was one of the reasons why she'd gone for an outfit that consisted almost entirely of black. That, and any bloodstains it received would show up less easily.

"...you've got to be kidding me." Nena might not have done any guard work before, but it was pretty obvious that you were supposed to keep your eyes open. Moving closer to the man, she waited until she was only a couple of feet away before she whispering "Wake up!" in a tone that gave away how annoyed the girl was. They were here to do a job and do it well, not this... laziness. If he didn't move... would that mean he'd actually fallen asleep? If that were the case, then she'd simply be doing her job by getting even closer and attempting to flick his ear.

Surrounded by idiots was the first thought that came to Olivier's mind. The second thought was why the hell are you off station????

She approached the pair with rage-knit eyebrows. "What do you think you're doing?" she hissed, crossing her arms. She'd decided to take up a standard patrol, sticking to shadows in a logical path from sentry to sentry.

Well. If anyone would get to their post, anyway. Ridiculous.

Oddly enough, the only person who was both at their post and awake was Beat. And said Beat was busy playing- I mean checking- his oversize shotgun. He'd been practicing ever since Haine had left it to him, and this was the first mission he had decided to wield it over his sword (though said weapon was still comfy at his hip). And so he hadn't noticed Gintoki asleep near-by, or Nena and Oliver berating him until now.

"...looks like he's sleepin', yo."

...okay, so he was up and moving now, but who knew? Maybe he was sleepwalking. Nena considered the thought for a moment before lowering the hand she had begun to raise. She was on a mission now and that meant not starting any violence within the team. Still, was he trying to pass the blame on to her?! Turning to face Olivier, Nena got ready to defend herself.

"His eyes were shut! He could have been asleep... or dead. It... would have been irresponsible of me not to check on a potential situation, especially when I could have done something to fix it. So really, it's all the dimwit's fault."

"And... I don't know." Nena continued, this time addressing Gintoki, "I was heading there when I saw you."

"You're all off post, and that's the issue here. We didn't come up with a strategy for guarding the warehouse just so you could spit in our faces."

Olivier looked as pissed as ever, wholly unimpressed with her shipmates. Was this how Prime ran things?

"The only thing I saw was a small animal that immediately regretted being within swords'-length."
