Content: Seriously, all this damned twinsynching is getting on his nerves.
Setting: All over the makeshift town.

Warnings: The usual. I'm too lazy to list them down. BUT YOU KNOW.
Another day, a whole bunch of annoyances (mainly old, but there were the occasional new ones) to deal with.
The usual fare, really.
After about five years of pretty much living on the Victoria II, Hijikata Toshirou had long learned how to handle most of the problems that were on the ship. One could be surprised at how well threats of seppuku could work on lazy cabin boys and seamen. Though what with the recent crew, that tactic wasn't as effective as it should be... but Hijikata managed anyway. He needed to adapt anyway, if he wanted to continue making his life onboard the flagship of the Ivona nation.
Though, sometimes the boatswain had to question that mentality - especially after recent events of the last few months. Mainly having to be stuck with the brat Sogou (still out to try and kill him as always) and discovering he had a long-lost twin brother. Hijikata really couldn't help but wonder at times if his life was supposed to be some big drama thing - seriously, that whole twin thing seemed like it was almost ripped off from some super cheesy drama radio show (that he happened to appreciate, but that was another matter altogether).
Tch. Not that I should even be thinking about it, the samurai cursed to himself mentally as he walked down the hallways of the ship and towards the main entrance/exit to the decks. It was a new day after all, and there was no better way to start a new day with a walk outside while they were still docked since he had already completed his morning rounds. Well, at least for today anyway - the animals were all yapping about in his room and he needed quiet before he was liable to chop them all up for trying to get to his boots yet again.
Puffing out a could of cigarette smoke as he turned around the corner, Hijikata made his way swiftly towards the door and reached out for the handle, more than ready to get some proper P & Q.
