Luke on the other hand had been busy running around town as always to take in the sights and sounds that this place had to offer - after all it was the first time he had been to anything like this, and it would be most probably the last too considering how he would most likely be returning to Erealia soon enough. So while he was here the redhead had made it a point to try and remember everything he could about this place before he was stuck back in House Fabre once more.

He had been returning from another round in the marketplace when he had noticed Delita, and immediately broke into a huge grin before abruptly starting to run towards the officer, calling aloud as he ran towards him. "Master Delita!!"

Delita froze and tensed at the calling of his name, but once "Master" was recognized by his brain he relaxed, turning and smiling at the young noble. Even with Luke's blue blood Delita had found himself becoming rather affectionate towards the younger man. Though not -much- younger really. Delita was only 20 years old, too young to really be anyone's Master. But he didn't mind. With the right hand Luke could turn away from the evils of his station. He gave Delita a little bit of hope.

"M'lord... I was afraid I had missed you."

"I thought I had almost missed you," the redhead returned with somewhat rather puppy dog-looking eyes, though it was quickly interrupted with a sheepish look that crossed his face as the teenager scratched the side of his head, glancing sideways as he spoke. "I was just looking around this place since it'd be the last time I'll get to see it before I get stuck back home again..."

From his actions and the tone of his voice, it was pretty clear that Luke was hardly looking forward to going home now.

He chuckled at Luke's cute expression, but said good humor fell away at the tone shift in the young man's voice. His moth tensed into a straight line, and his eyes hardened.

"...you do not sound very enthused."

Delita liked to think of himself as a calm and collected man. But even he had his moments of weakness. So when he saw Gintoki in full costume come out, he decided to approach. There was nothing wrong with telling an actor you thought they had done a good job! Not at all!.

Though said actor being approached by a man in full Ivona Navy uniform was a little off.

The officer held his hands up in mock surrender, smiling. And said smile was oddly charming for anyone that knew him. Delita had his moments, they were just rare.

"No... no need good sir. I simply came to say I enjoyed your performance."

He had seen the young man during the first showing - they had been on the opposite sides. He had also been there on the second, just a few rows apart.

On the third, they had been beside each other, but he had seemed far too occupied in the play to take notice. That, however, suited Takasugi just fine.

The bandaged man stepped off at around the same time as the other, pulling his pipe out from his pocket and searching for his matches. He eyed the young man as he did all of this, considering his words.

"You seem to have enjoyed the play very much."

The Quartermaster looked up, brows arched. He recognized the man he had sat next to, but not that he had been to the play as much as he had. Though it wasn't like Delita was hard to pick out. The well pressed uniform and cloak stood out in a crowd. He just honestly didn't own much or often wear casual clothing.

"It was... more charming then I expected."

"What had you expected then?"

He asked that question as he lit up, blowing life into the embers, burning cloves and tobacco stuffed into the end of his pipe.

"A children's story. Which it was, of course... but there were slightly more layers then I expected. I don't find the time wasted." He replied, inhaling the smoke from the other man's pipe. It reminded him of home. Of Master Beovule's pipe when he himself was a child. He smiled slightly.

Hughes had a great eye for people and faces, and while the skill did not have much practical use in the past, he was finding it useful now that he was selling tickets for the audience of the Winding Way plays. He could tell when people came back for a second time to watch, which prompted him to chat them up or some such thing.

So it wasn't much of a stretch to notice when someone came in thrice. A lot of people did, like that man who Hughes figured was Gintoki's childhood friend, and a few of the hardcore fans. This one that Hughes noticed the most, however, did not seem like either (or much of a play goer, for that matter), which interested him.

When the play was done, Hughes caught up with the man, just to be friendly. "Sir!" he called with a beam. "Sorry if I'm being nosey, but you've been coming to the play a lot. As a sign of our thanks for your continuous patronage, I can give you a price cut for your fourth viewing!"

If surprise was a rare expression on Delita Heiral's face, Hughes had managed to pull out something even rarer: The very beginnings of a blush. The officer coughed, trying to will the heat away.

"Ah... I do appreciate your offer good Ser, but..." he waved vaguely, fumbling for words. Another extreme rarity.

Hughes blinked. Was it something he said? He was only trying to be nice! (And nosey.)

Not wanting the customer to feel any more embarrassed, Hughes decided to push on with his question. "You seemed to like it a lot. Are you um, not coming back for a fourth? " he asked, and then realized that it might not have been the best question to ask. What if he lost a customer! Gasp!

"Well.... it is not the sort of show an... an officer of the Navy should be spending his time on so often. I have duties you see..." Which was mostly bullshit. With the races going on he had found himself scrounging for anything to do at all. Perhaps that was why he had gone to the play more than once. Or twice.
